Here Comes Thanksgiving. What Are You Thankful For?

This year, we asked some of our fellow employees what Thanksgiving means to them and what they are thankful for this year. Here, in their own words, are their responses:

Dale Thompson: I am thankful for a lot of things but mostly for still having Sue with me 4 years after her serious diagnosis. I hope I can say that 4 years from now and 4 years after that.

Alice Beam: I am thankful for the ability to enjoy life with my family and friends.

Crystal Thorn: I am so thankful for my family, good friends, my career and that the good Lord has given me another day to be a mother, wife, daughter and co-worker.

Robin King: We are facing tough times this year, especially at the holiday season. But I'd like to take time to give thanks for my loving family and friends. I'd also like to say I'm thankful for the Thanksgiving holidays being a 4-day weekend.

Rob Singleton: This holiday season and everyday I am so thankful that I have so much to be thankful for...And I am truely thankful with every fiber of my being !!!

Elaine Perkins: I am very thankful for my freedom, my family and to have a job with a company that values each of their employees. So many families are suffering durning this time from loss of jobs and homes causing them to loose faith , I feel very fortunate.

Linda Tucker: As I reflect on what I'm thankful for, there are just too many things to name. I am grateful for the blessing of a spirit of gratitude which gives me a new outlook on life. When you make thanksgiving a regular part of your life, you stay focused on what God has done and what He continues to do for you. An attitude of thankfulness not only brings blessings to your life, but also blesses others with appreciation and honor. I have memories of holidays with family members that are no longer with us and as I think of holidays to come, I have to say I am truly thankful for family, friends and health. I wish each of you a Happy Thanksgiving!

Natalie J. Becker: I am most grateful for the love and support of my family. My children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters and their families have a bond and a closeness that I cherish and thank God for every day.

Corey Chambliss: I am thankful to have my job. I am thankful that others are willing to take jobs defending our country so I can keep my safe job here at home.

Mike Carney: I am thankful for my family, good friends and my job.

Chandler Cox, Jr.: For me, it all begins with family and the opportunity to come together to celebrate our many blessings. This year I am thankful that all in my family are in good health, our company is owned by an organization that is financially secure and Nick Saben is the football coach at The University of Alabama.
