Marketplace
appears more stable to Carriers
After
two years of significant rate increases, the reinsurance
renewal process is reported to be much more stable
in 2004. Percentage changes in reinsurance rates
now are mostly in the single digits according
to several trade publications.
A number of insurers have indicated
that their renewal process was more stable this
year with the stability of the reinsurance market
across the board in both property and casualty
lines of coverage.

Stacie
Dunn Volunteers at
Local Homeless Shelter (and more)
Volunteering
is something that Stacie Dunn, Medical Claims
Adjuster in Birmingham, makes time for. She believes
in helping give back to the community. In her
own words:
I'm
a member of a small group at Church of the Highlands
that serves at the Firehouse Shelter on the second
Friday of every month.
We
cook dinner and serve and a few of the guys will
spend the night as hosts that evening and then
cook breakfast the next morning. It's such a blessing
everytime we go, and it was completely different
than what I expected the first time.
