Getting to Know Cindy Rogers in the Johnstown Office
How long have you been with us? I have worked at American Mining since October 2007.
What do you do every day? I was hired as part of the West Virginia Unit for Johnstown, PA. I am responsible for assisting with medical management of our West Virginia book of business, as well as, being available to assist with medical management of other files on the AMIC side.
What do you like most about your job? The things I like most about my job are the people I work with everyday, in the office and on the phone in other branches, and the diversity of medical issues that arise. Typically, my day starts off without any specific plan, other than being available to answer as many medical questions as I possibly can!
Have you lived in Johnstown long? I grew up in Johnstown and left the area when I went to college. I returned here in the summer of 2007 to live in my family home when my husband retired from 24 years of active duty service with the Air Force. I have been very fortunate in my 23 years of nursing, having many wonderful opportunities in many different settings. I have lived in Colorado, Maryland, Alaska, Texas, and Germany, and took full advantage of all travel opportunities. My son and daughter are world travelers, but are happy to have a permanent place to call home.
It is nice to be home, and I look forward to the challenges we all face as we continue with our West Virginia adventure. |
