Home Office Staff
Ted Roose is President of American Mining Claims Service. He joined CGH Insurance Group in April 1997 as Claims Manager for CGH Insurance Group, American Mining Insurance Company and American Mining Claims Service. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of American Mining Insurance Company and CGH Claims Service in April 2000. He has over thirty years experience in handling claims. Ted started with Travelers in June 1973 and held positions in Birmingham, Tampa and Memphis. Although his primary area of responsibility was in workers' compensation, he has multi-line experience. He left Travelers in February 1993 to become Claims Manager for TPI Restaurants who operated 260 restaurants and two distribution centers in eleven states. At TPI, he was responsible for coordinating claims with the claims service provider and managing the self-administered claims. In July 1995, Ted joined Sun Employer Services, a MGA and TPA, as Vice President of Claims responsible for Southern Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee. He is active in several workers’ compensation organizations.

Donna Shenesky joined CGH Insurance Group in March 1998 as Ohio Operations Manager and she was promoted to Vice President of CGH Claims Service in August 2000. She served as branch manager of our Lexington Kentucky office. She is a Vice President, Compliance for American Mining Insurance Company and is responsible for compliance, internal audits and quality control. Donna has twenty-nine years experience handling workers’ compensation claims for self-insured employers and insurance carriers. She started her claim career with Gates McDonald where she held several positions before becoming an Account Manager. Donna then joined Crawford & Company as a Supervisor of workers’ compensation claims. She coordinated internal operations and self-insured workers’ compensation programs for qualified self-insured employers. Donna is active claim organizations.

Elaine Perkins joined CGH Insurance Group in February 1993 as an adjuster. She has been promoted to Senior Adjuster and then to Supervisor in 2000. Elaine has twenty-nine years experience handling claims. She has held multi-line claims positions with Amerisure Insurance Company, Rockwood Insurance Company, Gay & Taylor and All Risk. In addition to handling workers’ compensation claims, she handles all general liability and commercial auto claims in Alabama and Tennessee. She is licensed in Alabama, Mississippi and Georgia. She earned her certificate as a Certified Workers' Compensation Adjuster. She is active in several workers’ compensation claims organizations. In 2004 she was promoted to Senior Claims Supervisor, Vice President of CGH Claims Service and Vice President of American Mining Claims Service.

Mike Carney joined CGH Insurance Group in January 2001 as a claims adjuster. He relocated to the company's home office in November 2002 and was promoted to Senior Adjuster. In July 2005 he was promoted to Assistant Claims Supervisor. Michael currently handles claims from Virginia, Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona. He also has experience working with claims from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and North Carolia. Michael graduated from Ohio University with a Business Economics degree in August 2000.

Robbie Williams joined CGH Insurance Group in January 2005. Robbie has seventeen years claims handling experience. She has claims experience with AETNA, Attenta & GAB-Robbins. In addition to handling workers' compensation claims in Alabama, she has experience and license to handle claims in TN, MS, and GA. She is an active member of the Alabama Workers' Comp. organization.
